Legendary rock band Status Quo will perform in Kyiv Palace 'Ukraine' on June 16, 2012. Before Briton's performance, the public will be warmed up by glam-rock bands 'Sweet' and 'Spirit of Smokie'.

Status Quo is a popular and commercially successful English rock band, founded by bass-guitarist Alan Lancaster and leader-guitarist Francis Rossi in 1962 in London. Their music is based on rock-n-roll, rhythm-and-blues and boogie-woogie mixture and is combined with common guys' image, simple songs and fine tunes. All these assured Status Quo's success in the whole world. Their most famous hit 'In the Army Now' (1986) - the cover version of the German duet's Brothers Ballands' song - remains popular even today.

Status Quo gives successful guest performances and issues disks. All their albums are in the top-20 list.
