Lviv has an unpublished status of coffee capital of Ukraine for a long time, and its residents have a reputation of experienced coffee lovers. It is here that people come to enjoy the taste of real coffee and it is here that festival devoted to this wonderful drink takes place.

Since autumn 2007 the holiday "For Coffee to Lviv" promotes the coffee culture of the town. In the framework of the festival everyone interested may make a tour around Lviv cafes, which take part in the festive contest, and try "festival" coffee. On this day all participating cafes make coffee from exclusive grades and on unique recipes, in order to create a real holiday of beloved drink.

The festival is also accompanied with other entertainments - fair of coffee and coffee utensils, introduction to history and traditions of the drink, music in retro style and jazz concert.
