Leopolis Grand Prix

From May 31st to June 2nd, the international festival of retro automobiles Leopolis Grand Prix will take place in Lviv. Traditional rally of historic autos, car carnival parade and theatre and costume contests will be carried out within its framework.

Festival’s main event will be the car racing along the historic route ‘Lviv’s Triangle.’ This is a circular auto racing that was carried out on Lviv’s street circuit as a part of the international Grand Prix series, the predecessor of Formula 1. The track was designed in 1927, but the first event took place only in 1930.

In addition, festival’s program includes outdoor exhibition presentations of retro cars, retro parade in the downtown, shows of specialized fashion collections having car theme, fairs, concerts, and auto shows for children.
