Leopolis Jazz Fest (previously Alfa Jazz Fest)

Lviv is traditionally going to turn into Europe’s jazz capital in the early summer – from June 26 to 30, the Ninth International Leopolis Jazz Fest will be carried out there.

Leopolis Jazz Fest means more than 100 musicians from different countries, about 30 hours of concerts, workshops and autograph sessions by world jazz stars, 82 tons of sound and light equipment. The main festival events will unfold on three stages. The first one will be installed at the Rynok Square, the second one will be placed at the Park of Culture imeni Bohdana Khmelnytskoho (Eddie Rosner Stage), and the third one will occupy the courtyard of the Potocki Palace.

Eddie Rosner Stage will host Larry Carlton (USA), Dee Dee Bridgewater (United States), Eliane Elias Quartet (Brazil - U.S.), Miles Electric Band (USA), Charles Lloyd New Quartet (USA), Lucky Peterson feat. Tamara Peterson (USA). Eddie Allen & PUSH (USA), Djabe (Hungary), DACH (Ukraine - Austria), Trio Vadim Neselovsky (Ukraine - USA), Iain Ballamy's Anorak (UK), Dave Fields (USA), Csaba Toth Bagi Balkan Union & Trilok Gurtu (Hungary - India), Jean-Marie Ecay Quartet (France) will perform on Market Square stage. Iriao (Georgia), Christof Lauer (Germany), Blues Kolo (Ukraine) and others’ concerts will be held on Potocki Palace’s stage.
