Lviv region was always famous for its rich festival traditions, and ethnic festival "Podkamen" is a vivid confirmation to that. This is one of the most large-scale and powerful events on the territory of the Western Ukraine, which firmly won the hearts of ethnic style lovers.

The festival takes place in the settlement Podkamen of Lviv region on the yearly basis. The main aim of the event is to popularize modern Ukrainian folk-music that sounds particularly harmonious at this amazingly beautiful and energetic place. Musical program is supplemented with sports competitions and cultural actions.

Moreover, the masterclasses by specialists and exhibitions of traditional handicrafts, performances of over 30 creative folk teams, tasting of local dishes, knight fights, installations, performances and many other entertainments are carried out in the framework of the festival.

How to get here. On the days, when festival is carried out, buses go from Lviv bus station №2 (ul. Bogdana Khmelnitskogo) to Podkamen every half an hour (35 UAH).
