The restaurant-café Masoch is a facility of the network ‘!Fest’ that consists of conceptual author’s restaurants that are located in Lviv’s historical center. It claims to be one of the most original and unusual facilities in the city.

Restaurant’s creators were inspired by works of the famous, Lviv-born writer Leopold von Sacher-Masoch. World’s first full-length monument to Masoch was installed in front of facility’s entrance.

Restaurant’s walls are adorned with masochist attributes: leather whips, ropes, handcuffs and chains. The visitors may try them on, if they wish. The staff is dressed in respective leather masochist clothes.

Names and ingredients of virtually all dishes and drinks are connected with masochism and Leopold von Sacher-Masoch’s creative work. It is considered that all dishes are cooked using natural aphrodisiacs.
