National Drama Theater
Ivan Franko National Academic Drama Theater - one of the best theaters in Ukraine - was founded in 1920, and its building was ready back in 1898. It is explained by the fact that the troupe of the theater arouse in Vinnytsia and, after numerous removals, finally settled in the capital of Ukraine. "Forest Song" after Lesya Ukrainka's work of the same name, "The Inspector General" by N. Gogol, "Saint Joan" by B. Shaw are among the best performances of the theater of former years.
Modern repertoire of the theater is very diverse in its genres. Psychological dramas as well as humorous plays are staged in it.
The team of the theater makes guest performances abroad, performing in Germany, Austria, the USA, Greece, Italy, Poland, where its creative work is highly appreciated.
