Out of Time, painting. Alexander Kriushin, Alexander Korol

The exhibition of pictorial canvases by two young and very talented Ukrainian painters Alexander Kriushin and Alexander Korol will be held in the Kyiv Pit-Art Gallery until the end of January.

The mastery of these painters is acknowledged even by their colleagues, although painters compliment each other very seldom. Boldness of stroke and good quality of compositions resonate with those of the old Soviet school’s masters. Painters rarely work like this now. They probably can’t, or are lazy, or chase the ghost of questionable ultramodernity. Kriushin’s and Korol’s works will always remain up-to-date. They are out of time.
