PinchukArtCentre presents the first in Eastern Europe personal exhibition of Canadian photographer Jeff Wall. The exposition consists of 17 photo-works and 7 light boxes. Chosen for the exhibition by the author himself, these works build up in each hall a delicate connection between nature, objects and young people at the age between adolescence and maturity.

Jeff Wall's creative work may seem to be a total ardor for large-scale pictorial canvases - pictures that hang separately on the wall and open up something unique and important to us. Over the last thirty years Wall adds qualities of the pictorial canvases to the photography and in this way creates compositions that reflect modern life in a way that once was considered to be exclusively pictorial.

In this project PinchukArtCentre combines the latest Wall's works and his earlier creations. Such token canvases as "War-game" (2007), as well as light boxes and new color photos, among which the monumental "The Band and the Crowd" - one of the largest works of the artist - are presented at the exhibition.
