Town of Craftsmen

Town of Craftsmen is a folk craft festival that takes place in Sudak on the picturesque Genoese Fortress's territory. During the festival, the fort, widespread on the territory of over 30 hectares, turns into festive space that unites past and present.

Festival's program includes different kinds of folk art: blacksmith's, glassblower's and potter's crafts, basket weaving, weaving on frames, tanning manufacture and many others. Guests may not only watch products' manufacturing, but also buy them.

Spectators may participate in medieval entertainments - beam and axe throwing, arch hooting - and visit armors and armory exhibition. Festival's integral part is medieval costumes and armours contest.
