Situated in Livadia, the Georgian restaurant 'Tiflis' is among the most prestigious restaurants not only in Yalta, but at the whole Southern Coast of Crimea. It is famous for traditional Georgian hospitality, excellent service and original interiors.
You can taste inimitable national Georgian dishes in the restaurant, including tevsi - fish dish, khoris kharshe - pork with Georgian cheese suluguni, abkhazuri - natural pork with pomegranate and Georgian spices, satsivi - turkey in nut sauce and many others. One third of dishes is cooked only on fire from vine firewood. The best lavash in Crimea is baked here in tandoor (special oven for baking).
The restaurant's pride is its rich wine list. Exquisite natural wines are brought from Kakheti - white and red kinzmarauli, tsinandali, white and red kvarelli, mukuzani, akhasheni, gremi - and khvanchkara is brought extra from Rajah Region.
One more 'Tiflis's specialty is its diverse berry menu. The restaurant yearly stores up 30-40 kinds of berries and organizes mass tea parties, where no less than 200 cups of green tea and 20 kg of berry jams are consumed. Fig, feijoa, strawberry, black and white currant, ashberry, arrow-wood, blackberry, mulberry, sea-buckthorn and nut fruits are used for this purpose.
