XI International Festival of Deruny

On September 7th, the XI International Festival of Deruny will take place in Korosten. It is dedicated to one of Ukrainian cuisine’s main dishes. Ukraine’s guests will have an opportunity not only to taste deruny (potato pancakes), but also to feel an inimitable national color, seasoned with well-known Ukrainian hospitality.

Chefs from different countries will show their skills in making deruny and other potato dishes similar to them during the gastronomic festival, while tasters and visitors will determine the best dishes and award their authors. The menu includes Belarusian, English, Norwegian, Polish and French potato pancakes, and traditional Polissya dishes.

Event’s program includes various contests and entertainments, exhibitions and performances of creative bands. In addition, guests will have an opportunity to join the Club of Deruny Lovers with a formal ceremony, to participate in special lottery and to visit Polissya wedding.
